    I'm glad Honda is back.
Only 1 second slower than porsche GT4 with cup2
13seconds faster than NA2 NSX TypeR driven by gunsun.
6seconds faster than prior record holder GTI clubsport s with cup2.

This is fine, but they have to be 500% focused on how to fix their monstrous F1 failure.

Do you think they deliberately washed out the exterior?

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.

    All Hail the VTEC YO!!!!

Seriously, I'm impressed with the new Type R. I wonder if the frenzy (and dealer markup) over these things when they go on sale will exceed that of the Focus RS.

    Rear end is extremely ugly.
Current gen TypeR is 3000.5lbs. I have no idea what Honda has done to a civic and it's 13 seconds faster than NA2 NSX typer.

Pushy thing with those slip angles. Driver consistently plants the wheel and waits (and waits and waits) for it to turn. No doubt there's more time left in it.

Will that engine fit in the f1 car? It might be a decent upgrade.

I am a bit uncomfortable that:

    1. removed some interior pieces to compensate for the roll cage weight.
    2. not stating what tires are used..... I can easily cut 7 seconds on an 8 minute course, with special tires....

Really impressive, for sure, but it's hard to understand why the camera's exposure setting was set so poorly.

Maybe they used someone from their F1 team?

BTW, what's a "floating roll cage"? Is that a euphemism for a bolt-in roll cage or is it something entirely different?

I'm thinking the latter as a bolt-in cage (or rollbar) will definitely add stiffness.
