    Default Funny drift video.

This video has some nice camera angles.

If nothing happens and there is no one around why did it not happen?

Looks like they've had more fun than any of us at a track day though!

Talk about one-upping all the Ken Block Gymkhana videos (except the first one, that was great but the rest sucked progressively more).

I got 2:10 into the video and gave up. These guys are morons and drifting is stupid. I rented a Nissan 240SX one time many years ago, to drive on the street when my daily driver was being fixed. I liked it but thought it was a little buzzy and cheap. I had no idea these cars would be tortured endlessly by their later owners. Where do these kids get the $$$ for all the tires they destroy?

well you need to consider that the tires they put in the back probably aren't NT01s or the like. my best bet would be all seasons or crap federal 595 SS that cost less than a bill each

i do share the same contempt for drifting

    Easy, there! Dutch,

The idea of this video about a bunch of guys having fun, it just happens to be that they are going sideways most of the time. So they happen to exploit extreme slip angle, there is a place in one's repertoire for using it. Sure it's not the fastest way around a corner but is can save you from going off, not everyone is going to have the luxury of having 4 wheel drive.

BTW: I see not problem with Federal tyers they don't get greasy like Falken or BF Goodrich when you get them hot.

    Cheers

Oh Richard, don't be drift grouch! Drifting is great fun. I go to just drift events and have a blast every time I get my car sideways. It's great fun.

Those are the owners' missiles; "missiles" being the term used to define beater cars used in practice sessions to keep the built cars from getting wrecked. Better than taking clean cars and folding 'em up, I say.

Note the names: Chris Forsberg, Tony Angelo, Nick D'Alessio, Matt Petty, Ryan Tuerck, Brian Wilkerson; all big names that everyone interested in drifting knows. I don't think a single one of the cars cost more than $5k to build.

For someone who used to want to be a drifter, and who still likes oversteer, this video is a breast of fresh ass. It's just goofy drifting-for-fun, drifting because it's awesome.

My Nissan's first track event this year is going to be ES' grip/drift event at Horsethief, I think. Depends on whether or not I can afford a couple more wheels with tires.

I wouldn't mind doing a drift day to get the car-control experience. On a real track for at least some of the day, not only on a parking lot or skidpad. Ideally a "come to the track and we'll teach you to drift" day. But I haven't really found anything suitable.

    this video is pretty good!!
loving the special angles that they used during shooting!!

we don't have many drifters on the board so ill elaborate,
drifting is actually not that expensive unless u go pro and start competing

i got my s13 for 2k, and never spent a penny not necessary on it
all u need is a weld diff actually lol
got extra rims off craiglist, the car can take 8 in the back yet still gets 25mpg
tires are free from a near by shop, i run tires that their customers don't want anymore, and just mount no balance since ur not going so fast

i only put in 87 in the s13 and do fluid flush once a year lol

the reason behind why charles and i can drive a super lose car is becuz we drift - secrets out =)
