Default Forum Error or Setting - Or just Me?

I'm a member of many forums but this is the only one where I have a lot of trouble with the text box. Basically, it doesn't "wrap" and this make it almost impossible to format your posts. Is there a setting I am missing? Again, I have no such problems on the dozen or more other forums I use.

I don't know why you'd be having that problem. Usually hard return does the trick to start a new paragraph. The post above looks fine to me.

I've had this issue for sometime too (few years).

The word-wrap doesn't work as expected in the text editor (to create/reply/edit posts). Each paragraph appears as one line of text (no-wrap). I have to scroll horizontally to read longer paragraphs because they run off the viewable area to the right. The hard-return works as expected for creating new paragraphs in the editor. This issue is the wrap within the paragraph itself.

The word-wrap works properly when reading posts. Not withstanding, large images will blow out the right boundary - but this is expected with this software.

The issue with the editor is a minor annoyance. I'm used to it. In my case it hasn't prevented me from formatting posts - though text selection can be tricky at times. In terms of software annoyances and priorities, this one is low for me. If the fix is spend $$$ to upgrade the forum software, I prefer you save the money and spend it on racing instead.

Brett - it is a real problem on Windows computers. On the 2-3 I log-in with, it is the same. As you are typing a reply, there's no wrap - it's just one long line of text. I usually end up copy-pasting from Word - otherwise it is a real nuisance.

Brett, the first post of this thread perfectly describes the problem.

Word wrap in text entry boxes not working in Firefox

It appears for me that just Chrome does not work. Explorer seems to work fine.
