+1. I don't think I've ever seen a more blatant and deliberate case of intentional contact to prevent a pass (other than when I'm racing gran turismo on the playstation ).

Looks like the top speed they hit was 96mph.

It looked like Prost didn't hear Heidfeld coming along side.

Actually, I was being straight. As much as I am a Senna fanboy, I always felt that Suzuka was, at best, a wash. Now the politics after the flag, that was a whole 'nother story, but the actual action at the chicane, I've never thought Prost was significantly in the wrong. He was closing the door, sure, but at least he was closing the door. The move in Bejing gets more appalling every time I look at the replay.

And no matter how you look at Suzuka, it wasn't representative of Prost's driving style in general.

Heidfield and Prost were teammates in WEC and in LMP2 in LeMans. I think Heidfield forgiven him and Prost admitted fault after realizing the mistake. Heidfield did look suuuuper pissed off shaking his head the entire walk back to his garage. Prost could been seen visibly shaken, upset, distraught on the move he did.
