    Seems like there is no end to the appetite for new racing series "over there":

    Not sure if this actually qualifies as a "new series".
    I believe that the car is going to be replacing the Megane Trophy cars in Renault's own one model series that has been running since the late 70s.
    The big leap here is that the cars are now unique to the series as opposed to being based on or silhouettes of the more pedestrian models, and have a lot more power.

    Except for the < 2,500 lb weight and 7 speed sequential transmission.

    Must be a great series for Euro gentlemen drivers.

    I just got back from a European trip and was impressed by the popularity of Renaualt Megane's and Clio's - even in Germany.
