Corvettes and many new high performance cars come with Carbon Fiber Steering Assist. Under hard acceleration, if the car senses a large mass of carbon fiber, say a tree trunk or telephone pole, the car automatically steers right at it.

Is anyone else getting video ads on the upper left hand corner of your Android browser?
Not sure if it's legit or my phone is dirty.

I'm not sure what's worse... the idiot that crashed a vette in a straight line (no matter how powerful it is) or the person too dumb to record a video in landscape.

I've never driven a powerful car, so I wouldn't know. I think he just stabbed the throttle going into second. Bad idea, because the car's weight just went forward during the abrupt throttle lift to allow for the gear change.

^^^ Ouch. I (almost) resisted the urge to say: "that'll buff right out." Why don't we get lots of pics of crashed Miatas? Answer: They don't have enough power to crash into the woods . . .

The typical miata driver is too insecure to post his crashes.

Lol. Driving a Miata means you're completely secure in your manhood, not the opposite.

If a Miata guy wrecks at the track, he leaves it there for the custodial staff to dispose of. Sorta like tearing a shoe. Drop it in the nearest rubbish bin, shrug and move on.

We don't see pics of Miata wrecks because they are so common no one notices anymore. They aren't called Spec Piñata for nothing!

I hear from next year there will be a new rule in SM: DQ for anyone that has no dent[s] or rubber mark after the race
