Sierra Fiat (Monrovia) deal, this is where I got mine, ask for David Lee:

$2,830 drive off (then you get a $2,500 state check in 2 months, makes it a $330 drive off)
    $88 per month x 35 months
    10k miles per year
    3 years lease

btw. this manager, Javier Soriano (rumor is he is the owner), is claiming this is WITHOUT competitive lease money. so if you have competitive lease, you can get another $28 off per month. that's a $55 per month deal with ~$350 drive off (after you get your $2,500 state check)

this is deal of the century if true.

So... my power costs about 40 cents a kwh, this car needs 30kwh per 100 miles, so $12 per 100 miles or $3 per 25 miles. My miata gets 25 miles per $4 gallon of gas.

Is a FIAT $80 a month better to drive than an old miata?

your power can't possibly cost that much....40 cents / kwh is very very very high.
highest rate I know of is 31 cents / kwh (Hawaii is higher) and this is at highest tier. you are single, should be at lower tier. I am guessing you should be paying 10-15 cents / kwh. remember you can't add base charge, because you paid that regardless how much electricity you use.

and can your Miata take carpool lane ?

    40 cents/kwh is insane. My T1 is 14.5, T2 is 17.3.

in LA's Metroexpress / Fastrak thing ($2-$4 per HOA use, by FWY 10), if you have an EV, you set the transponder to "3", and access is free.......

my company has a CNG van (white HOA sticker), one of reason for the CNG is due to free use of Metroexpress. saves the company ~$4 per day or $1,000 per year.

I saw them pushing a deal like this when I test drove an 500 Abarth recently. It really got me thinking about getting the 500e just because it seems like a great deal. I just couldn't get my head around passing on the Abarth for the squishier, heavier electric version. Especially when I am going to have to sell my 350Z to make room for it.

Abarth is 65/35 weight distribution. 500e is 55/45 with battery below your foot. which one will handle better ?

I'm so close to pulling the trigger on this deal. I only have 3 things holding me back. 1)Generally it will be less convenient. 2)It might actually cost me more when insurance and everything else is included. 3)I only drove my truck ~5k miles including towing last year (might change when I change work projects in a few months)

It sure would be easier to park than a Ram 2500 though.

Tier 3 is 37 cents a kwh, kicks in at 400kwh at the month I looked at. No traffic on my commute.

Better weight distribution and lower CG definitely make the 500e intriguing, but I don't think it is designed to be fun to drive. A 500e Abarth would be another story . . .

fiat-lease-2.jpgjust confirmed this deal. this is a "Purist" deal, but anybody can get it. dealership owner is a "Purist member".

if you do NOT have competitive lease:
$900 (TTL) + $2,500 down (you will get a $2,500 state check in 2 months) drive off
    $82 + tax / month x 35 months
    10k miles per year x 3 years.
there is a $395 lease disposition fee at end of the lease

if you HAVE a competitive lease:
$900 (TTL) + $2,500 down (you will get a $2,500 state check in 2 months) drive off
    $56 + tax / month x 35 months
    10k miles per year x 3 years.
there is a $395 lease disposition fee at end of the lease

you also get $500 car rental (Budget and Enterprise) credit per year.
