Default Discount Tire Direct $100 off every $400

Check it out: Discount Tire Direct Event - March 4 - 17 - eBay Partner Network Blog

A lot of Porsche guys were buying NT01s but this would work for tires for your tow vehicles or daily drives to put more money in the racing coffers. Some of them were adding tie downs or random knick-knacks to their orders of front or rear tires to hit the $400 threshold.

Why would you want to buy that tire?

    Big fella!!
I've got my 4000 quattro racecar build with 16" x 7.5" wheels (impossible to find low profile tires!), I need good long lasting tires that have decent grip (200 tread wear rating), I'll need to do allot of tweaking of the suspension and need lots 'O track time!!

PS; I need to keep the tire diameter under 23.75" in order to keep them from rubbing! A 245/40-16" would be perfect but doesn't exist!
I can't go down to 15's because I'm running Focus SVO 12.2" front rotors.... it's also immpossible to find 4x108's in 15" wheels either unless 949 starts to make some!!!

This is a good time to buy trailer tires. Pricing is perfect too. 205/75-15 are about $100 each before discount

That's not listed on Tire rack's site... do you mean 225/45-16?
I paid $119 per tire for the Azenis, I need something I can thrash on and not feel guilty!

205/40 17 NT01s. Lasts longer and are more consistent than sticky street tires (I think that helps tuning a lot). Plus they should be way faster. Just have to bump up to 17s...
Or just raise your car ~1/2", no?

I'm not in the position to buy new wheels right now. 16's are what I have, I'm even considering going down to 15's in the future for better tire selection but I will have to go with smaller front rotors, I also don't want the huge amount of rotational inertia and unsprung weight larger wheels create!

Decent tires> than "rotational inertia". But yeah, cheap tires are cheaper than wheels and tires. Lol
