Thanks to Jim Tway, my 510-F22C project is up and running.

Headed to Chuckwalla next Sat. to start sorting it out.

sweet! Do you know whats it weight?

I also like the RX2s and 3s from that era. I do see some 510s at the track but never any old RXs. Do they not handle as well as the Datsun?

I'd say they're right on par, but most people these days with RX2's and 3's don't track them, they restore them. There was a guy with a yellow caged RX-2 that used to go out every now and then, but he didn't push it hard because the car needed new bushings (was on originals!) and suspension. It had a 13B-REW with about 450WHP... crazy fast. I wonder if he'll come to Mazfest this year...

    Default Rx3

RX3 was the first team I ever worked on. It was good times. We used to murder people down the straights with that thing 2150 wet incl a big driver and it made a lot of power through 38mm restrictors. Those things are awesome/ Tough to find now, seems like they are all in Puerto Rico haha

Cool car today, bit slow did it have issues with the drive train or maybe getting the power to the ground?

Was dealing with major handling issues all day. Drastic adjustment of tire pressues helped and found a broken front spring perch at the end of the day. Nothing worse then a car that does not go where you point it.

All in all, to drive it 5 session and be able to drive it on the trailer is a victory for a first trip out.

Just honk your horn next time you want to pass in the bowl :-)

The guys at Mariah Motorsports here in Santa Barbara race an RX2 or 3 along with an FC.

Very cool car CraZee! I hope to see it in person someday.

Love the idea of an F22C in a 510. Pondered doing it to my Z but too broke/lazy haha. Hope you get the new car sorted soon, it looks awesome!
