Default Data logging dash - anyone uses AiM MXG / MXS?

Looking for feedback and real world experience on the AiM MXG or MXS dashes.
    Thanks in advance!

What do you want to know? Give me a call. Have them in my own cars and have installed many.

I have been using an MXL pista for a few years now and have been very happy with it. What specifics do you want to know? I can send you some data files so you can play with the software to see how you like it. You can download the software for free from Aim. The Newer dashes have nicer displays but the analysis software is the same.

Haven't used the full color MXS/MXG but after viewing samples, I find the monochrome MXL2 easier to read. Feels like color is one less things for my noggin to process. So that's what's in my cars.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

I have raced with multiple generations of aim dashes, including the Mxl for many years. The latest generation is the best one yet. In fact I'm racing in one of Mark's cars with an Mxs this weekend. The display is bright and easy to read, superior to Mxl. Definitely give Mark a call, he knows these systems better than anyone I know.
