I just got back from racing at CoTA at the SCCA BFG tires superTour. This is an awesome track and the videos do not do it justice. CoTA is super fun and super technical. We got lucky and had both wet and dry days. The pavement is super smooth and your tires hardly wear but yet the grip is very high. Video just can't give you an appreciation of the track contours which are what make it fun. T1 is very deceptive more than T1 at WSIR. You can carry lots more speed than you think. The back section is a giant rhyhum section sort of like the uphill CW direction of BRP's cotton corners. T20 and T11 lead onto straights and they are a muther to maximize your momentum onto the straight. You will hate yourself for pointing and shooting those corners. You can pass anywhere on this track even the esses. You can't do that at BRP's esses.
