Ha, pretty unbiased. Mostly true. I thought it was funny. It's a good Top gear style format. "The dodge viper's fun too but thats a terrible fun. Thats like sex with a prostitute." sorta rings Jeremy Clarkson. Though He has potential somebody should produce him for tv.

I do agree to an extent; I rode in a c5 z06 on track, and although the power was amazing, the chassis was not that impressive. The car was quite tail happy and didn't seem to like changing direction very much. I also rode in a 600hp c6 z06 on the street though, and I was blown away by! But then again I don't know it would behave on track.

    You gotta be kiddin' me....

Oh, you must be racing Formula Atlantics. OK, I understand now.

That C5 Z06 on the SoWS track record thread on this forum does not change directions very good in the Chicane and the twisties on turns three through to the bowl. It got those lap times by cutting the corners through the dirt I suppose.

Who cares about the size of the gaps in the body parts when a ZO6 kicks butt on just about any car out there.

I have videos of 1.6 lateral G's in a Corvette with stock leaf springs, good bushings and sway bars and shocks and race tires and a steady throttle foot and it will corner with the best of cars.

Why spend the extra $100K for a Porsche or anything from Germany.

    This video stinks!

I haven't watched the video, but I have driven Oli's T1 C5 Z06 at Streets of Willow and it is an absolutely amazing car. I'm kicking myself for not buying Ryan's T1 car when I had the chance.

well the car does have some shortcomings... who the hell still has leaf springs and sliding calipers?... only thing worse would be if we had the mustangs solid axle.

point is... we're still faster than the collective 'you'.

imagine how fast we would be with GOOD equipment.

I don't think the monoleaf has any real shortcomings but one. It is not quite as clean for adjusting ride height, but the ride height screws are just as effective if you make sure you get the pad unbound after adjustment.

Most track day guys and club racers don't have enough knowledge and help at the track to be making major spring and shock adjustments anyway. I think the whole local SCCA T1 contingent has proven that our stock T1 setups are a potent producer of fast lap times.

If there were only two things I would change on the car one of them would not be the suspension. I would go with a different clutch and different calipers/rotors.

Nope, an s2000. This vette was not nearly as modified as yours though...
