Maybe 15mpg. Smoky cold starts. Lumpy 6 port idle. Non existent parts. Nasty ride from 17" lop pro tires and lowered live axle suspension. Manual trans.
It is gorgeous and probably a hoot to drive but the last car I would personally want for short hops around town.

I guess I'm lazy. I want an auto trans, power steering and immaculate electronic fuel injected driveability. So maybe put a stock RX-8 Renesis motor and super quiet exhaust, go back to the OEM sized 13 or 14" steel wheels, widened to 8" with 205/60/13 RA1's raise it 1". Now you have the car I might want to drive around town.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Love the old school Mazda, but the e55 wagon is boss.
If nothing happens and there is no one around why did it not happen?

I really like the early 626 coupes. That would be a fun project.

I think the wagon pictured above would be cool to have but not drive it everyday. Besides, aren't you looking for better fuel economy than your full size truck?

The price, cracked dash, missing interior bits and fuel economy (or lack thereof) rule it out, but I just thought it was unique. I also need EFI drivability from a daily.
