He has renounced his worldly possessions and has joined a monastery in order to "get his mind right".

Wasn't their new show Top Speed or something like that just announced or was that an internet joke?

Not a joke, but looks unlikely according to the article below.

I wouldn't hire a guy who punches co-workers. But, I'm a crappy capitalist. I hope SOMEONE hires him though, and may Darwin protect anyone within a 5 foot radius of Clarkson at any time there is no warm food available.

I expect them to produce a show themselves and distribute it in a deal with Netflix or Amazon. Then they don't have to deal with Ofcom, etc., and keep control to themselves.

Not to mention I expect the deal to be VERY lucrative for them.

And before we go back to "punch in the face, etc" keep in mind that many Hollywood stars have exhibited far more egregious behavior and are still making huge motion pictures. Clarkson's actions wouldn't even make the front page of US tabloids.

    It's almost inevitable.

I sometimes tire of the inane stunts, but I still always looked forward to the show. The production quality - especially the visual editing - was actually quite good, so I hope that any successor does as well.
