Wow! That was impressive! Competing with the world's best drivers in an older model is no joke. Considering turbo is at least 1 sec faster than NA. He's probably maxed out the NA 320si in the corners. Hopefully he could get the new turbo 320TC for the remaining 2 rounds of WTCC.

I've been following Charles for a few years. He's just getting better n better. Wish him good luck and a brighter n bigger future ahead of him!

Good job Charles. Great talent. I am a bit confused though, it says he is in position 14 on the chart, but i see he is on the 3rd spot on the podium. Were there 2 different classes or something?

Haha the stand was too small. He was driving the older model NA 320si and won the championship of the NA class. Depending on the size of the track, the older NA is at least 1 sec slower than the new Turbo but u can tell by the lap time that he really maxed out the car in the corners. I can't wait to see what he can do if he gets to drive the new Turbo...

Awesome. Any in-car? Btw, do these races air on TV here, or do you need a special tv coverage package?

It's great to see talent promoted. Red_5 got a ride with Charles at the first Miatas at Laguna Seca event. You should have seen the size of his eyeballs after he got out of Charles' car.

Damn...can't believe I missed this thread! Good job, Charles!

Charles was competing with the independent series aka Yokohama trophy and also jay-ten trophy. He won the jay-ten for both races.

And if I remember reading, Jay-ten refers to cars that are homologated under the 2010 WTCC rules. FIA allowed these cars to compete in 2011 when the rules were revised. Charles drove the 320si (NA). The Englster team revised that to 320TC (turbo) for 2011.
