    His tires get warm around 4 minutes.

    It seems the guy driving is a nube since he appears to have an instructor, yet in that car he is in lap time territory for about half the SCCA class lap records. We have entered an era where stock production cars in the right hands can set lap records for GT2. That makes them faster than 90 percent of the race cars. For roofed and fendered cars only GT1 is faster.

    I was thinking similarly. He left a lot out there, but for 40 degrees out and overcast, I understand why. The speed that car reaches on the straights is astounding. It's a STREET car. Probably mostly stock.
