    Default Canadian Grand Prix

I'll be going to the Canadian GP in Montreal in a week for the first time. Any advice on what to do, where to eat, good pubs? Our tickets are at turn 9.
    Thanks

Montreal is gorgeous. If you understand French, it adds to the experience a little, but Québécois is a little different dialect.

Great city, the Old Port area has lots of good eating/drinking. It is very close to the track and downtown.
Language is not a problem as everyone speaks English.
The metro is easy to navigate, and is the best way to get to the track.

Tip: when leaving the track on Sunday, there is a ferry that goes over to the old port area, no lines - no waiting (plus they serve beer). u can pick it up on the north side of the island past the metro station (http://goo.gl/maps/wIFW6) you can buy tickets at the dock.

Tripadvisor.com is a really good web site.

After you type "Montreal, Quebec" into the search window, click on that same window and many different topics will populate the adjacent window.

Also Big Happa was there a couple of years ago for the grand prix. He is a very seasoned world traveler that hates to overpay or under enjoy. You may want to PM him.
