Gas is so cheap in the USA, including California! Our friends in Europe, Britain, and Japan are paying $10+ per gallon. Count your blessings . . .

^^Brett doesn't really pay attention to diesel prices, a year ago he saw that it was more expensive than gas and has been stuck there since. For whatever reason, diesel prices fluctuate independent of gas prices.

Time to switch to the motorcycle. And I just put it back together too, good timing. 40 mpg and the power to weight ratio of a Veyron to boot...

I've been hearing it's the biggest single jump in gas prices in history. That's pretty ridiculous, even if the reality is that it isn't going to make or break our wallets to pay an extra $1 per gallon. Especially because there seems no solid culprit - the stories about the causes are all over the place and don't agree with each other..

Tonigh I passed the Chevron station on Irvine Boulevard just before you get on the 55 freeway. If you're going westbound the sign reads 4.99 for premium, If you're going eastbound it reads 4.89 since I had tanked up on Thursday I didn't get a chance to put them to the test.

Worst part is is its all speculation. It also set a precedent of what people are still willing to pay. The bar, my friends, has been raised.

I dun know, I think blaming it on the Aliens is going a bit outlandish.

Was 5.19 last night for 91 in the city. Granted that was the station that tends to be 10-20 cents higher than any others.. but still JEBUS!!! I filled up (err make that put a benny in the tank) my 2500 at 4.59 a gallon, which was 10 cents cheaper than 87.
