Ford appears to be topping each class in terms of laptime. Pretty cool.

While the Base Mustang "GT" was 3.2 seconds off of the E92 M3, the M3 was 1.4 seconds short of the less expensive GT500. The new BOSS 302 might even give the GT500 a run for its money coming in between it and the base "GT".

The Base Mustang V6 turns a faster lap time than the 2011 Subaru STI, the S2000 CR, 2008 EVO MR, BMW 135i, 2006 Cayman S and Lotus Elise. Very interesting.

Interesting to see the suspension modifications change the IS-F's laptime by 8.6 seconds over the course of 3 years. Pretty cool.

I've always taken the lighting crap times with a grain of salt.
But now that they have big racing names such as Mark Gillies with a racing background that includes being educated at the Reading School and St. Catharine’s College in Cambridge, i might need to reconsider.

The Mustang GT also turned out a great time this year. I really think the Mustangs are becoming a world class car these days. Good for Ford.

The real stand out car I think is the Lexus IS-F. Wow was that car fast!
Same time as an M3 and much heaver. Although I'm not sure who they have driving these cars. I know C&D staff are not the best or most consistent drivers out there.

    2006 Porsche 997 Carerra Coupe 6-MT - daily driver
1992 Honda (Acura) NSX 5-MT - classic investment I couldn't resist and occasionally drive
    2004 Honda S2000 AP2 6-MT - track day car
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR 6-MT - when I need a backseat, 4-doors, or a real trunk, and still want to haul ass . . .

No GTR on the list, but in the list posted by Pure Evo IX, it was faster than the Porsche turbo even with the All Season optional tires.
