Me too. I don't race on the street so I don't care that minivans and Camrys have more power.

I'm starting to see more of them on the road. Saw an FRS driving through my office building parking lot this morning. This year, Scion in only bringing in 10,000 FR-S to the USA, and Subaru is only bringing in 6,000 BR-Z, so they are going to continue to be scarce.

This last weekend I saw one, pitted next to me, that had a turbo & looked factory. Had an RS on the plastic engine cover.
Didn't get a chance to talk to the guy who owned it.
That's not a Typo, I just can't spell no so well.

I had some testing with FR-S a few weeks ago for a car magazine, here is some info and video to share with

stock 86 on stock tires, 61.20

    stock 86 on 225/255 RS3, 58.73

my stock CR on 225 RS3/255 RSR in the same day, 56.85

here is a full list of car spec

    weight:
    CR 2900lbs with driver
    86 2800lbs with driver

    camber
CR -2.8/-2.8 (street setting, optimized setting was with more camber)
    86 -1.7/L-0.8 R-1.3

    wheel
    CR 17x9J +45 17x10J +52
    86 17x8J +32 17x9J +41

    tire
    CR 225 RS3/255 RSR
    86 225 RS3/255 RS3

    power
    CR 63mm straight exhaust
    86

    laptime (same day)
    CR 56.85
    86 58.73
    86 61.20 (stock wheels/tires)

86 can definitely catch S2 with more power + final drive and optimized alignment, but S2 is always faster if it is 100lbs lighter

I had a chance to drive an FRS at streets of willow. My impression was it's easy to drive fast. I didn't really push the car but it is a fun.
