Default Billy Johnson, We need a Daytona race report

I saw that you stepped into the DP to help out the Frisselle, Lowe, Tracy team, too.

Have you ever driven a DP before, let alone that car?

It also looked like Billy might have done a brief stint in the #50 DP as well at the end? I wasn't sure but I know a couple of teams were having driver issues...

    Oli -

Give shoe and fleadh a chance to chance to catch their breath after running a 24 hour race! I doubt if their first priority is posting here on Monday after the race. I know you have an over-inflated sense of your own self importance, but just keep your shorts on, they will post when they get around to it.

I don't think pro drivers like doing race reports when their cars die with them at the wheel

To be fair, Billy probably didn't run much of it.

All I heard -- and this was from the broadcast, not from anyone at the track -- was that for sure the #77, the Friselle brothers were not feeling well (severe dehydration) and their other driver was not well, and that Paul Tracy was just finishing up 3 hours or whatever the max was for a single stint in the car, so they needed someone to spell him for an hour, and that Billy got the call.

For the #50 DP I just saw "Johnson" in the scroll across the top towards the end and thought maybe Billy had gotten a second call to bail another team out.

I think that was "Jonnson" not "Johnson." Not Billy.

    From Billy's FB post:

Those guys are slacking. It is not like they ran an ultrathon or something. They were just sitting a in a car and driving around.

As far as your addressing me, I request you use the salutation "Sir" or "Mr." when you address me.

I like that look. Just wait until the next race....

Is that a Nomex or CarbonX blouse?

    Oli,

I would love to but despite both races being over, some people are able to avoid all the results and spoilers through social media, dont follow the races live on tv or timing and scoring, and get upset when the results are posted here in the thq world.

Billy, stop being a tool. Post it in a thread that warns about the content and put a spoiler warning header on it if you want to be really careful.

Some people like to watch races rather than read tweets from twits on twitter.

I only get mad about the Conti race results getting posted because it airs later and then some people, not mentioning names, post the results in the thread title.

I'm going to block Mazdaspeed on FB because they do the same crap. Speed needs to just air the Conti race live or closer to live rather than wait a week or two. We all have DVRs so we can record both Rolex and Conti races from the same weekend.
