I think it is stuck in one of the dimples of my Hoosier A6.

BTW, where do you keep your beer?

You are not coming over to 7s Only to steal my after-race beer in your cockamamie 700 hp Corvette, so don't even think about it.

The last time I saw Richard and his Miata he was pushing it to behind the dumpster at Seven's Only. BTW, due to the negative performance aspects of the car they have now changed their name to Six's Only and Falling.....

    Lovingest regards,

    Oli

PS. Where is the red, white and blue beer?

It's going to take a while to get to 2000 hp, but I think Oli's Corvette is up to 800 hp now. And it runs on stolen beer. Pretty amazing.

I recently found a beer I really like -- "Lobotomy Bock" brewed in small batches by the Indian Wells Brewing Company. It is available at Whole Foods Market of all places. It's 10.8% alcohol, or 21.6 proof. Will your 900 hp Corvette run on that?

Only you would try to "race" a Miata in your 1000 hp Corvette.

    did someone mention VIPER?

this is what happened after the spin

When the kid finally got towed back to the pits, him and his Dad got into a shouting match

    "ITS NOT MY FAULT DAD!"

Then he threw a tantrum and went inside one of the two $100,000 motor homes

While his brother washed the dirt off

He said something about there being a bump on the track and that's why he went off... and when his Dad said "well why hasn't anyone else gone off yet then?" that's when he got mad

There is only one picture in the sequence, but by the look of the front wheels it does not appear there was any attempt to correct for the spin.

If you look ever so closely at the very edge of the picture frame you can catch a few pixels of Burgoon's Miata as it is passing the spinning Viper.....

At first look, I thought it was a photochopped picture but if there is a back story to go with it, maybe not. I think Aaron would be the expert on the composite.

Back to whether Big Willow is a hp track, I don't think a track being a momentum track means that a high hp car will be slower than a "momentum car".

I did notice something interesting working on my car just now. Before Big Willow I had plenty of brake rotor. After Big Willow, my rotors are trashed. I run Hawk Blacks and my theory is that they destroyed the rotors because they never came up to temperature.

I am thinking that perhaps you could define a momentum track as any track that you don't use the brakes much.

there are some more pitures of the Viper, I just post the best one!

the Viper actually spun out in front of me and Mark captured that by following me

i believe my 2nd lap was faster than 2'05, but ruined by that Viper
