I'll be there for both days for the LCS. Where's everyone staying? I'm still deciding whether to stay over both Friday/Sat nite. Or just drive up Sat morning and just stay for one nite.

haha, I guess where ever there is a canopy. Anyone bringing one? Or else we have to stay inside the cafeteria. The heat is killing me for the past few days here in the SGV. It will be worst at the high desert.

I am hoping it's not as bad as this weekend. Even over here at the beach it may be 100 today.

I normally stay at the Inn of Lancaster. I hear there is a Holiday Inn that is a little nicer which I haven't stayed at yet.

This time, since I don't have a car and I'm not driving, I will be catching a ride up in the morning.

    Hey Tim and Manly,

You guys know Margaret and I will be there. Do you two have any good recommendations of videos to watch for the track?

Watching how fast guys like you 2 take the track really helps out. Cuts down on the learning curve a lot.

Also what is considered a good time...in a car with under 200 hp!! Looking to get even closer to Kyle this time!

    Doug,

I haven't timed myself at Big W. yet so I don't know what's a good time. I've been there twice only. I would try YouTube.

You did a 1:30 at SOW, right? That's very fast considering it was your first time. Let me know if you need any help at the track.

Hey Doug, I only been there once. And it was one of my first few track days. My best time of the day was 1:41. I think Oli, JC3D, and Jack Olsen have a few good videos on here.

    Doug,
I have my last race from a few weeks ago up on youtube. I forgot to click the button for the sound, so no audio, which I know is unacceptable according to Aaron for someone in my industry. But it is the first lap with a crazy start and the second lap where I did a 1:34.

I will be there on Saturday instructing too. I'll be over in the trackhq camp wherever that ends up being. Or look for Oli's trailer. We usually park with him.

Here's the video that you posted earlier of Craig Stanton in an Elise at WSIR (1:27). Call me a wimp, but I don't see the appeal of that track.

I will be there on Saturday as well. I'm going to install a new front lip on Friday night and see if I can get the nose to stick a little better through turn 2. It has been about a year since I have been to Big Willow.. looking forward to it!
