    Default Big Thanks to Vetteguy2005!

This is a bit late, but I wanted to give a public shout of thanks to Tom. At the last RTA event on November 14th. I had the opportunity to get some in-car coaching during the first session by RTA's lead instructor, Allan Crocket. Obviously, instruction is much more valuable when you can actually hear what your instructor is saying and you can get feedback in real time.

That said, even though he barely knows me (we've only met twice, and briefly at that), he let me borrow his Chatterbox intercom for the day. It was a big help.

    Thanks again, Tom! You rock!

The Chatterbox intercom works very well, and its a bargain for the quality. I've ordered one for myself so I have it for future instruction.

Me and you put together are not as much heavenly joy as Tom.

I'm sorry Ed, but magenta just doesn't belong in a man's vocabulary. The closest I can come is magneto.

Actually, by his own admission yesterday, 403 lbs.

Tom is the most positive person I have ever met. He is always happy, laughing, and telling funny stories. He's moving to the Chicago area soon, so we have to wish him a big trackHQ Goodbye and Good Luck!

Wow, thanks guys for all the kind words and appreciation. I really appreciate the commraderie of the Track HQ Community and so if I can fit in and do small favor for one of us, why not.
Doc N Rock failed to mention he brought me a really nice bottle of Napa Valley wine that was unexpected but very much appreciated.

I stole that line about 300 lbs of heavenly joy from one of my favorite blues singers. I wish I was still 300, I weighed that much at 15 my first day of high school. So to make times comparable, everyone else needs to start carrying 200 lbs of balast so I can hang with you.

Big Twist and the Mellow Fellows, they were out of Chicago but I listened to them in Southern Illinois at SIU in college, lot of fond memories, at least the ones I can remember.

I will likely be around until mid to late February so we will see you at as many track days as I can make until then and who knows down the road, what may happen.

I didn't know you were moving, Tom. I wish you the best with the move and in your future endeavors.

I hope you enjoyed it. I felt it was the least I could do to express my thanks.

Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Wisconsin, there is a new track in Northern Iowa, not sure on the name. I will likely have to drive farther to get to some good tracks but we will find a way.

I am hoping to finish the BMW to a NASA and SCCA WTW car before I tear it up with Lemons and Chump car.

It still will not be So Cal though.

Do you have a Provisional License from NASA, or a Novice Permit from SCCA?
