    Default A Better Panamera

This design addresses what was wrong with its predecessor.

So it addressed nothing? And nothing was wrong with the original design?

The original is an awkward and unattractive design. A poorly thought out stretch of the regular 911.

Now it looks like a station wagon/squashed Cayenne. But I do think this is better looking, as the original appeared to be trying too hard to look like a sports car (I am not arguing performance, merely looks) and the dimensions didn't work.

I like the original too but I like this design better. It looks more like a wagon and I usually prefer the looks of the wagon to the sedan.

I didn't like them when they first came out but they have really grown on me. I think it's funny that this car has less over hang then a lot of 911s.

^^ The 911 can't help rear overhang due to engine placement.

Why did they put a banana under the wheel?

    It's a bit of an improvement, but that's not saying much . . .

You can dress up a piece of poo in a cute little top hat and bow tie, but it will still be just a piece of poo in a top hat and bow tie...

I think its a huge improvement, a proper station wagon as opposed to an in between.

I still think the original Panamera looked like what a dog does when it has worms. The Chrysler Crossfire coupe did, too.

Yeah, but the Crossfire didn't cost like $100,000. Paying that kind of premium for one of the world's ugliest cars proves that Panamera owners have more money than brains.

I guess I live near people with more money than brains because I see a bunch of Panameras everyday. I probably won't ever be in the market for such a premium car but I'd buy the Panamera pictured above if I were and if they build it.

Here's a better Panamera. It's called the Aston Martin Rapide.
