Default bellwilliam car of the week: Alfa 4C, $55k new

Cars for Sale: New 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C in Coupe, Fairview Heights IL: 62208 Details - Coupe - Autotrader

    $55 for a brand new 2015 Alfa 4C.

saw this on Jalopnik. Such a pretty car for a decent price. checked on Autotrader, many are selling for up to ~$10k to-$15k off MSRP..... and no, I ain't buying one......already bought 3 in the last 3 months. CFO gonna be pissed.

another one at even bigger discount. same dealer, not sure what the catch is.....$58k for a Launch Edition (more options)

I think winning the '16 SPM championship has gone to William's head, he now referring to himself in the third person . . .

Wow, I'm surprised they're selling for such a low price. Just watching how they're build made me want one but I still only have a Miata budget. A 25 year old Miata budget.

Would calling this thing "a lotus that they bothered to finish" be accurate?

Perhaps a more accurate moniker for the party in question is CFO (wife).

Well, they are both held together with glue. The brochures call it a bonding agent.

Agreed, but you do have to wonder about how body panels get repaired. Which leads to the question of the present value of future insurance payments and if it should be compared to other cars in that price range (and added to the purchase price).

4C is gorgeous, no question. But for my money I'll take the classic in metal tub for a fraction of the price. Sure, the 4C wins in every category, though not as much soul.

2015 cars. Typical of italian cars in America...they don't sell well. I even question Ferrari sales at ferrari southbay where it is quiet as a tomb there

Not necessarily, I just wonder if there is a large insurance premium due to the cost of repair.
