    Default bay area traffic advise

We are doing a Chump Car race at Laguna Seca and are acting like real race car drivers and flying to the event. Another poor schmuck on the team has to tow the trailer LOL

How long should we figure it will take Sunday late afternoon to get from Laguna to Oakland airport?

    Thanks

Google maps has a "depart at" feature, so it can estimate your time based on historical traffic patterns.

    https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Mazd...2!8j1489337400

It estimates 1hr50m to 2hr20m. 101 can be a parking lot from Prunedale to Gilroy and sometimes heading down to the coast and up over 17 is faster.

Cool, I will check that out. Looks like San Jose is a much closer option!

Every once in a while fares from Monterey (MRY) are sane... never hurts to check!

Checked MRY but crazy price. $77 one way from San Diego to San Jose on SWA :-)

Whats a reasonable hotel/motel close to the track? I have only been there 1 time before. Stocked to be going back!
