WOW.... Who was driving? Crazy to see the tires fall off later in the lap. What version PZero is it running?

Yes, WOW. The acceleration on that thing is boggling. What's crazy is how early he's braking in some spots because of the gargantuan entry speed. In the Swifts we were grabbing another gear in spots where he's on the brakes. Ina few spots, he's braking the turn before the turn he has to slow down for. Mad qually lap style commitment. 190+ under the brideg at the top of the hill. :O

I was expecting it would be the Trofeo R...that video was insane.

Found the exact tire specs online.

Those are some skinny front tires. I would expect at least 285s in the front.

EDIT: Then again, this video proves their 255s work just fine. haha.

My mind was blown at how often they hit 280kph. insane. Any speed - 160kph is just silly acceleration.

That was horrifying to watch despite the fact I've never seen anyone drive the ring so skillfully for an entire lap. Emilio is right, those tires fell off the side of a sheer cliff near the end.

He hit 201 at the end of the strait, on shot tires. *_*

You mean Billy was right. But yeah, it's clear that he lost the tires as he reached the top of the hill around Hedwigshöhe. He's not pointed dead straight when he goes over Pflanzgarten (the jump). Yikes. Epic lap in a "street" car.

Did the car have a cage. On the right it looks like it has a roll-bar going up by the A-pillar, but I can't see one on the right. Is a race seat standard on that car?
To the right of The Sheriff. Isn't everyone?

I think he's braking early because the car weighs over 4,000 lbs. . . .

11 years prior, with traffic, and an H pattern shifter, Bimmer guy takes it. Wow . . .

Of course, his is not a valet approved, boulevard car.

They said this lap was done during Pirelli tire testing so I wonder if they were testing different compounds, but clearly those tires still fell off towards the end, I wonder if Trofeo R will improve another 3s to beat 918 Spyder?

BTW, this is a SV model, its dry weight is only 3362lbs, the front end weights only 1446lbs.
