Default Audi R8 for the weekend

I have owned an Audi since 2003, and recently purchased another A6. I have always been extremely impressed with their customer service.... But this time they really showed their true colors..... A flatbed showed up at my house today and delivered a complimentary 2015 R8 for the weekend. So far I really like the car.... But I am truly amazed that they would do something like this. Great company.

As requested here are some pictures.....

My impression after spending a few days with the car are all very positive. It has a very nice but basic interior. The cars speed feels similar to my C6 Corvette....It has an engine note that is very exotic and vey pleasing to the ear. One of the nicest features of the car was the transmission. It has a 7 speed semi automatic with twin clutches. I don't know the details of the transmission, but it is really nice. It was very smooth and has a throttle matching blip while downshifting. The more time I spend with the car, the more I like it. It is going to be hard to give it back.

    Mission accomplished,Audi
Seriously, you got lucky because of the VAG CEO's dreams of world domination. They may start giving away cars soon.I dont know how many are aware, but the Audi new car prices in Europe and around the world are 5-10% higher than the respective MB and BMW models at average, but here they are 10-15% lower.

I have had a similar experience with BMW. Had my BMW under warranty repair and they gave me a better one as loaner. BMW is smart and want you to upgrade to the next nicer car. You would never give it a thought if they loaned you a prius.
