Default All the Cars You have Owned?

So everyone here loves cars. The focus of the forum is racing and open track driving, but we all enjoy our street cars too. In your entire life, what cars have you owned? I'll start, in chronological order of when I acquired the cars:

    1969 Volkswagen Beetle (purchased used)
    1972 Fiat 128 Sport L (purchased new)
    1975 Fiat X1/9 (new)
    1962 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II (used -- side curtains and 3-carbs)
    1975 Fiat 128 sedan (used)
1981 Chevrolet Camaro (new -- 4 cyl. engine and 4-speed manual)
1967 Fiat Dino Spyder (used -- Google it)
    1975 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC (used)
    1988 BMW 528e (new)
1988 Volkswagen Cabrio (new - wife's car, but I bought it)
    1990 BMW 535i (new)
1991 Volvo 940 Turbo Wagon (new - wife's car, but I bought it)
    1992 BMW 325is (new)
    1995 BMW M3 (new)
2001 Toyota Sequoia (new -- wife's car, but I bought it)
2003 Nissan 350Z Track model (new)
2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII RS (new)
    2004 Audi S4 (new)
*2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR (new)
    1994 Mazda Miata (used)
    1996 Chevrolet Corvette (used)
*2006 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe (used -- my daughter's car, but I bought it and I'm getting it back now that she drives the '92 Lexus)
    2003 Honda S2000 (used)
    *2002 Jaguar Vanden Plas (used)
    *1992 Acura NSX (used)
*1984 Formula Mazda (used open wheel race car)
*2003 Chevrolet Suburban (used tow vehicle)
*1992 Lexus LS 400 (used -- my daughter is now driving this car)

    *This car still currently owned.

So 28 cars so far . . . All had manual gearboxes except the Mercedes, Jaguar, BMW 528e and 535i, Suburban, and my wife's and daughter's cars.

Looking at the list today what I see, other than a smattering of 3 American cars owned out of 28 cars over 40 years, is a shift from European cars to Japanese cars. Also a shift from buying new cars to buying used cars. Not really sure what those trends mean. Objectively, it might mean that I have been getting poorer over time, but exactly the opposite is true. Go figure . . .

^^^ It was a pretty cool car . . . I bought it for $7,250- in 1981, drove it like crazy for 7 years, and sold it in 1988 for $38,000- when it was not running with a broken rear axle, among other problems. The buyer had to tow it out of my subterranian garage.

So the biggest opportunity to buy a classic sports car that I blew was in about 1975, when I bought my '62 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II for $2,500-. I was looking for a classic British sports car. I had a chance to buy a circa 1963 white Aston-Martin DB-5 for $5,000- (yes, the famous James Bond model). The only thing wrong with it is that the driver's door glass window was missing, and it was going to be hard and expensive to find one. I passed because the price was high for me at the time, and bought the Austin-Healey instead. What a mistake . . .

I don't even know what half of these cars are.

    1990 Nissan 300zx
    1998 Honda Prelude
    2002 Honda S2000
    2000 Toyota MR-S
    2004 Subaru STI
    2002 Honda S2000
    1991 Acura NSX
    2004 Honda S2000
    2002 Honda S2000
    2008 Civic Si Sedan
    2005 Lotus Elise
    2007 Honda S2000
    1993 Mazda Rx7
    2006 Honda S2000
    2004 Honda S2000
    2000 BMW M coupe
    2002 Honda S2000
    2005 Honda S2000
    1991 Honda Civic

I'm pretty sure I'm missing an S2000 or two still. After a while you tend to deny having a problem for a certain car/brand. Like bawareca and his BMW army.

I hope the tow truck arrives soon. I hate how these city buses I ride always seem to break down. I am going to be late getting my EBT card.

I can see why you needed to justify the ownership of some of those cars, Brent.
