    Default 5th Gen Miata Roadster

No real news regarding the drive train, but the Alfa version sure looks better.

Better to share stuff with something the same size rather than an RX8 I guess.

That might be the ugliest version of ND I've seen yet, I hope it isn't accurate.

I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

Also, I think you mean 4th generation Miata.

I don't know. I dig it. I'm not usually a huge fan of the pronounced wheel arches, but those on the latest renderings look pretty well done. I love the grille and headlamps, and the entire rear fascia.

I do think this one is better, though.

That one caught s2k disease. I hate the high belt line cars seem to need for safety these days.

^^^ S2K disease? An S2K is far better looking than any generation Miata.

But is there any evidence that truly says they are going to look anything like these renderings? i mean they are speculation from a source that has never seen what the car is going look like.

I never understood where these Artists get their information from, or how they get enough info to put a whole car together.

I personally really like that Alfa though. It is much more simple and clean. And that Rear end.. Oh my...

^^ I think that one is the '10 or '11 model, which has the better grille than the '09s which were the most smiley. Every time I see one, I think of this movie:

The Alfa looks way better. I hope that's not what the Mazda looks like, of all the new car styles that is the worst I've seen.
The Alfa on the other hand has some nice lines especially the rear and the headlights.

They haven't sold Alfas in the USA for about 20 years, and until last year, they hadn't sold Fiats here for at least 25 years. I think they are both signficantly improved from a quality standpoint than they used to be. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new Alfa Romeo when they return to the USA, and I even considered a Fiat 500 Abarth, but for a couple grand more you get a BR-Z/FR-S, which just seems like a lot more car to me.
