Default 569 Race Entries for the SCCA CoTA Race and Registration just opened at 1 PM Today

    Wow!

There are already 569 Race Entries for the SCCA CoTA Race. Registration just opened at 1 PM Today. I wonder where they will cap registration?

We are not talking HPDE, Time Trials and Racing, this is all just wheel to wheel racing for National Classes only. The biggest classes as of now are:
    1. SM at 92 entries
    2. SRF at 88

I am sure all numbers will increase.

This entry list page probably requires registration to view.

SM sold out in 20 min. 85 car max, the rest on waiting list. As of this afternoon there were only 2 groups left with 70+ cars already. So maybe all 7 gps sold by now.

I paid-up in within 15mins of the opening and there were over 500 entries when I finished. If anyone knows of a transporter going to COTA my car would like a ride. Otherwise I'm towing. Oli if we tow Matt is entered so maybe a caravan. Matt knows some nice place to do some sporting clays.

I might just head straight there from the race at ACS the weekend before.

BMWCCA's June 7-9 race/DE at COTA opened for registration at 9PM last night. There were about 30 registrations in the first hour and now registration is closed, showing 61 entrants, about 44 of which are race.

I was sorely, sorely tempted but that tow will be horrid. Maybe next year...

NASA and Formula Car Challenge has a weekend at CotA in March I think. Driving the FM there would be awesome.

    Richard,

FM might be the last group to fill. Now there are only 58 entries in the FM group and the other closed groups are around 85 entries.

    Check here DLB Racing Calendar

This is the LSR region of the SCCA's motorsportsreg like we use in socal.

Seven's only transport to COTA from BRP $1500/car. Still checking if that is RT.

I'd much rather run the FM with SCCA than NASA/FCC.
