    I think the added electric power on the turbo blades is pretty cool. I wonder what the math is on a fully electric turbo? If the turbo was electric then the only heat transfer would be from air compression. Could that mean you don't need an intercooler or the weight and plumbing of all that. Also, I suspect you could control the incoming pressurized intake more like a normally aspirated engine vs. the standard turbo that varies in speed and thus pressure due to changes in exhaust flow.

    the heat is mostly from the compression of the air, not the housing heat.
