    Default 2016 MX-5 Manufacturing Processes

This makes me want to tour an automotive plant.

Very interesting. Looks like they do the front axle alignment before it is installed in the car.

    Slammin' soundtrack.

One of my favorite memories growing up in Detroit was touring a Ford plant. Pretty much course de rigueur for all school kids at at that time.

Even today, I love to see how my clients build stuff in their plants. It's fascinating.

Factory alignments on corvettes tend to be all over. You'd think there wouldn't be THAT much error doing it outside the car.

It depends on the standarts the body and frame parts are manufactured. A hand made fender for old Ferrari could be 1/3" different than another one, BMW claims their cars are within 1mm.
