Are you sure that's not an old one that's been in a terrible car accident and fixed by someone's uncle in there backyard with a really good tool kit?

ND will have 4 wheel studs instead of 5 to reduce weight.

While I think this looks good, it's most likely a rendering of an NC with a Kodo front end - note the 5 lug NC wheels. Also, if you notice on the mules, there's more room between the NDs door and front wheel than what's shown in this rendering. The ND will have a longer front shorter rear and I think with a retractable hardtop will look a little Z4ish but 9/10 scale.

Mazda has historically introduced new Miatas at the Chicago show. I'll bet we see some kind of beneath-the-skin ND there in a couple of weeks showing off it's SkyActiv RWD drivetrain.

I've been following this on a Miata forum and these are the bits that make the most sense to me based on what we're seeing, what's planned and what Mazda has historically done with the Miata.

If I remember correctly, when Mazda rescheduled the Mazdas at Laguna Seca event until later this year, they promised it would be well worth waiting for.
I know a few folks are hopeful that they'll reveal the ND...

The rescheduling of Miatas at MRLS is the main reason I think Sep will be the latest we see the ND.
