    What the heck is SLB?

    What are entry requirements?

Is it worth going to? I assume so from the apparent entries and interes.....

details still need to be worked out, otherwise i'm up at infineon coaching. but its looking good and we should be there.

oli - www.superlapbattle.com - its a tuner time attack event, not sure the vette is "eligible" within their rules.

Looks like Oli's T1 car would be fine to me, it fits perfectly within the Street Class rules unless there is something I am missing?

    A) CLASSING/VEHICLE PREPARATION (QUALIFYING ROUNDS)
    • Only cars running in the NASA TT run groups are eligible to qualify for our Super Lap Battle.
    • NASA TT run group classification (TTA, TTB, TTC…) does not effect qualifying.
    • Only cars running a DOT approved tire will be eligible for Super Lap Battle qualifying.
    • Depending on the region transponders may not be available; it is your responsibility
to make arrangements for transponder rental or purchase.

    A) STREET CLASS
    1. Street Class vehicles must have legal registration and current tags. Furthermore,
you will be required to drive your vehicle from the morning meeting point to the
track. Street Class cars may not be trailered to the event.
    2. Tires must have a minimum UTQG rating of 180.
    3. Windows must retain the factory glass.
    4. Full interior must be retained with the exception of the items below:
    a) OEM seats can be changed out for approved racing seats.
    b) Factory panels may be cut to allow for safety items (roll bar, harnesses etc…).
    c) Exceptions may be allowed but must be signed off from a NASA tech inspector
and Super Lap Battle event official.
    5. All cars must retain the heater core but AC may be removed.
    6. NASA is managing vehicle inspection, timing, and scoring. Your vehicle(s) must
meet the basic requirements for street vehicles (HPDE) as stated in Section 11 of
the NASA CCR, found at: http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf. Ensure
your vehicle will pass inspection. Contact us if you have any questions. If you arrive
and your vehicle is deemed unsafe, it won’t run.

Hah, here is the only mention of it but you are right:

    Example: A

Corvette Z06 sets the fastest time of the day and a Subaru STI gets the second fastest time. Because the Corvette uses a pushrod it is not allowed in our Super Lap Battle so the invite goes to the Subaru STI that meets the requirements of our Super Lap Battle rules.

Whether it is pushrod or not is the determining factor. Mustang's with the V8 SOHC/DOHC engines are allowed.

the evasive evo will be very hard to beat..... specially now with better than before areo & more power.. they upgraded alot since they ran a 53'.

but we'll see... we all know that sometimes we 'think' we are making our cars faster by upgrading them.. to only get to track & run slower... lol
