Man only 5 out of 17.

I've been to 12 of them, raced on two of them. Much work still left to do.

    Come up north.

NASA is running Sears Point in October with the PRC.

It'll be nice and cool... something that will be foreign to you southern California track junkies.

Heck. I'll even bring my espresso brownies for any and all Track HQ members that attend!!!

The authors are idiots. Sonoma Raceway is only #13, and Laguna Seca is #1 ???

I was most surprised by #2. Laguna is growing on me the more I drive it. Definitely a demanding track on the car and driver. I used to rank it below Sonoma and T-hill but now they are all about equal in my eyes, each with their own unique challenges.

My favorite photos on that list are Lime Rock and COA.

I'm still not a fan of Thunderhill... don't enjoy the off-camber bits at all.

I saw this earlier in the week. It started as the top 16 tracks in the US. Road America was not part of the original 16 and if you read the comments at the bottom, people were pretty twisted up about it. I have been to 12 on the list, raced at 8. Can't say I really agree with all of them on there, especially the order. However, if you take in to consideration the writer originally omitted Road America and then just randomly added it...

I think the author considered legacy as a major part of compiling that list. SMMP has no legacy, really, though it is a fun track.

Miller does not have much legacy either, but they do get major races that SMMP does not.

Willow Springs belongs on that list. Great track that you can run and run and run and never really master. Turn 9 is a "riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. . . ." (Thanks to Winston Churchill)
