Aim Solo Data Overlay to Video (Go Pro2)

Hi,

I am trying to find out if anyone using this system?

Note: (Not Solo DL, no SmartyCAM b/c 2001 s2000 ecu will not work with either one.)

Using "Aim Solo" data acquisition and "dashware" software can I overlay the data on the videos recorded by "GoPro2" ???

I know that dashware software works with Aimsport's data (that's what they say in their website), but I wanna make sure it is possible with AIM SOLO (cheapest unit of SOLO series they sell.)

Please let me know if you had succeed with this system or if you know someone who did.

DashWare doesnt seem to like the files from my AiM Solo.
The error says "This video file does not contain embedded data" any time I try to add a Data File.

Can anyone shed some light on how to properly add the AiM Solo file to DashWare?

Dashware lists AIM on their site as compatible. Have you tired giving them a call?

They still havent replied to my request yesterday for my serial number after purchasing it... I thought Id get quicker results here.

Will do!

What Ive learned so far is that you have to double click on the specific session first, then click file and export.
You can then choose the type of file to export to; choose csv; then you can add the file to DashWare.

Its an extra couple of steps... but thats what I found is necessary to make it work.
