    Default B20 vs Diesel #2

What's the deal with B20? *insert Seinfield meme*

I usually see Diesel #2 at local pumps (SF Bay Area) but B20 on I-5 at truck stops. I didn't really think anything about it recently until I was trying to diagnose a drivetrain vibration.

What do I need to know? Can/should I mix? Mileage loss? power gain? price?
A quick google search brings up some random arguments that remind me of Gas vs E85. Might clean out fuel system, not sure about mixing, people seem to want B20.

When we had the motorhome I ran whatever they sold -- mainly B20, since I rarely fueled in town. Never saw or noticed any difference.

So, is it like the diesel equivalent to gasoline with 20 percent (though it's more likely 10 or 15 percent in reality) ethanol? Is there any difference in latent energy?

    This covers some theoretical basics:

    B20:
    -lower emissions
-lower energy content (slightly lower efficiency and power)
    -maybe less wear on engine
    -not great for cold weather
-may remove deposits in fuel system and clog filters when switching

What I want to know is real world problems that might occur for switching back and forth or blending.

It has lower energy content and it deteriorates O rings and seals in the fuel system — just like ethanol. I'm out.
