Default Castrol Top Car Car Challenge this Friday at buttonwillow (July 23rd)

    Guys-

figure this might be a long shot, but curious if anyone in socal is interested in going up to the Castrol top car challenge at buttonwillow on friday. I'll pay for fuel as well as a hotel room for Thursday night. Here is a link to the event.

    Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge

Friday is just the track time, "time attack", or whatever day. I'm driving 2 of the cars.

Basically, I'm looking for a ride from LAX (I land Thursday at 7:10) up to Buttonwillow that evening. you can share my room. Then I need a ride back to LAX on Friday. We'd leave the track around 2:30. I'm trying to avoid renting a car, because it will be easier to make my flight home from LAX if I don't have to return a rental and we can use carpool lanes.

Us knowing each other isn't a must, but it would be good if we knew the same people as you'll be sharing a room with me. I'm assuming its a double bed room for you homophobes - so don't get your hopes up.

Any interest? leave a note in this thread, or drop me an email.

When you assume, you put "u", "me" and an "ass" together!

Better practice sleeping on your back Matt!

So what you're saying is that if i change the reservation to one king, you'd be interested, rob? There is a new born baby in my house, so my standards for action are lower than usual.

So sorry to disappoint, but I am unavoidably detained at Cal Speed.

    Congrats on the new addition!

Congratulations. You're a lucky man to have the new one and to get to the track so soon.

sounds like a guy that knows the chaos of a new kid.

I had a 24hr enduro the weekend before he was born, and testing 2 weeks after. I have a very supportive wife.

    o-townFLA-

Sonny - I'll get back to you this morning. thanks for the offer.

That I do but now I know the chaos of a 3.5 year old and a 15 month old. Even more chaos but with more sleep.

    Red-

We are in similar situations, I'm just a couple mos behind you. My first turns 3 in august.

As to the fluid question, i have no idea, but i doubt it.

And sonny is going to take care of me. Thanks for being willing to help!

    Matt
