Default Buttonwillow NASA SM Inverted Grid Heat

    Some passing fun:

Two 2nd place finishes out of about 11 cars. The teen was too fast to catch this time. I spent the summer getting rid of some suspension issues and the car seems to like it! The setup is better than it's ever been.

    Nice drive.

    Inverted grid. Cool idea.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Boy, we all laid down for you! I've changed my mind, next time I'm fighting harder. Cost me two spots giving you the inside of Phil Hill.

Thank you all for the great time this past weekend. I really enjoyed it and learned so much.

Yeah, that pass on you sucked. I should be able to do that without clobbering both of our momentum to avoid contact. I'm a bit rusty from no SM since april.

My favorite part from the video is trying to get John exiting sunset on the penultimate lap. I lift and try to force the car left and the rear takes offense.

That was the best race of the weekend. I'll post my video later.

Your pass was fine Rob. My defense sucked!!! I saw what you were talking about with the rear of your car trying to move on John. Was still nice. Your car is handling way better than mine. Yours seem nice and loose. Mine was tight and I had to put way too much steering input compared to yours.

I'll have video of John trying to punt me on the start in the main, haha!

I think I also have video of scaring a 944 off the sweeper by passing him on the outside.

Nice driving Rob. You seem to be carrying a ton of speed into Sunset, a lot moe than I remember carrying. Very nice.

Rob was hooked up for sure. Really was apparent watching him in sunset.

Sorry we missed many last weekend. I did not have time to make my usual rounds. New car gremlins made it a busy (and depressing) weekend. Just as an FYI anytime we are at the track sat night is byob bbq night. It was really cool to watch the enduro while munching killer carne asada last weekend. Fun hanging with Adam Gershon and the Champlins. No invitation is needed, just wander over sometime around dinner time and we'll figure it out

Next up pcr at AAA this weekend. Rock on....
