OK, I think I have everyone's times updated. There was a glitch with my hosting company (shocker) that I thought was related to the vBulletin software, but it wasn't. Anyway, I was getting error messages every time I tried to update anything, so I couldn't. It's fixed now. Thanks for your patience, guys.

Thanks, Amir. I suddenly really like Big Willow, how strange.

Here's the video of my personal best lap at WSIR turned during the Lotus Cup USA Time Trial/Quali on Sunday, March 7th -- we ran our event with VARA, a great group of people. I can see some easy time that I left on the table -- just improving my line in turn 8 (post apex) might be enough to get me into the 1:26's.

I know Brent will tell me I should have been flat-out in 8 until the braking/downshift point, but I don't have his talent or large attachments.

Owe much of my improvement to Brent Bauman's coaching and the advice/tips from the Lotus Cup personnel at the track -- current/former Skip Barber instructors stationed at a few key spots around the track. After a practice session, they would provide all of us with their critique and suggestions for improvement. All we had to do is listen and then execute. A special thank you to Jonathan Frost as well for some invaluable advice.

The video is great, Jack! Congratulations on the big leap forward -- and welcome to the 27 club. (I've got to get back out there and find some more time -- there's no way I could match that on a 75 day.)

    Thanks, Jack.

I studied your WSIR instructional video for some tips and it helped -- I really wanted to break 1:30 barrier during this competition.

Colder weather helps my super-charged Toyota motor make power as well ... the lower the IATs, the more timing advance the ECU will allow. Of course, lower track temps can adversely affect tire grip. The gusting winds last weekend were less than ideal, but there's always something to complain about, right?

Hope to see you soon at one of Kailo's events.

That's pretty friggin' fast with your set up. What's your secret? Your lines are great, but you are a bit of a puzzy when it comes to passing . . .
