I don't think my position on the list will ever change. But I drove a 1:27.59 on Wednesday.

Nice job! Persistence pays off. I wasn't up yet, but you did just leap frog my best time.

How was the event on Wed.? Sorry I had to miss it. Too busy with work and not that anxious to drive the FM on track with a bunch of modified street cars. It was kind of miserable the first time.

Great video (loved the music cue), and congrats on a faster time!
    Weather was perfect, huh?

Thanks, guys. The weather was great -- especially in the morning. And these tires just keep getting better as I wear through them.

The only things different than last time (when the weather was even better), were 1) there was less traffic -- Red group was not crowded, and 2) I adjusted my front swaybar one click softer. I go very slowly with setup adjustments. The last time I was there, I'd gone one click stiffer on the rear sway. I'm slowly trying to get a little less push from the car.

Would have been a 1:29 If I hadn't mis-shifted on the back straight. Not a fast time for an FM but I'm improving and having a blast.

Hey Richard, was there a thunder roadster out there? Was it driven well?

    Rob -

There was a big car hauler full of Thunder Roadsters. I saw two of them on track during the open wheel car sessions. One was sort of green and yellow (is that the one you rented?). It was driven carefully and sensibly, but not fast. I flew past him a few times.

The other one I only saw once. It was silver. The driver was a phucknut. He went off to the right between turns 3 and 4, and came blasting back onto the track bringing lots of rocks with him, just as I was exiting turn 3. I followed him around the Omega and he was all squirrely going into turn 5 so I passed him as quick as I could and never saw him again.

This was during a BW test day, iirc sometime in 2010. I wasnt in ST2 trim and wasnt racing so i dont have anything off mylaps. But ill go ahead and give myself the benefit of the doubt. Btw, Oli has 2 lap times posted...6 and 9.

That's a good way to cause confusion. Most people mean "Buttonwillow" when they say "BW"
