Cool, another fast ST2 car and driver in CA! Looking forward to racing with you Kevin. Where did you buy that car and who's was it?

It is Ross' car sporting a Tway Motorsports corner balance, alignment and safety upgrades! And a Superior Automotive tune by Tad. We are going to have to step up Bill. Kevin has only run that car a couple times and is already up to speed.

    Likewise Bill. (Congrats on Nationals!)

As Jim mentioned, I got the car from Ross who moved to Ca from Va. This was my second day tracking the car and am still sorting things out. Hoping to have everything figured out soon so I can run some WeST2 events with you guys! Jim has done an excellent job helping me get it ready! Highly recommended!

That's the problem with making such a great instructional video. Rookies like me learn a ton from it!

    (Seriously though, great video)

My 2nd visit down at big willow and first time racing there in my ST2 car. This lap was in Saturday's race on scrub tires from NASA nationals last year, but they felt pretty good on Saturday. I ran the same tires all day Sunday too and they were shot by then. Need to figure out how to get more camber in my left rear for that track. Thanks to TC Design for all the winter work on my car and installing my new AIM MXL2 dash and harnesses. No more factory key or dash .

    My heavens!

Perched at the top end of the totem pole - right behind Billy J's big slick, ultra-built, gonzo beast. And with tired rubber on your second visit, no less.

I'm attempting to come up with a rear camber solution as well. I have few questions regarding your rear camber if you could.
Which camber kit do you run and how much camber are you getting out of it? Do you know your rear trim (D) height and your spring rate? Are you still running shims on upper control arms and do you know the count?
Feel free to respond via pm if this is top secret setup stuff. Any info you have would help out thanks.

    1:36.7 in PT qualifying...

Might have been pushed half the lap by a Honda...

It was very surprising to me because my tires were a complete unknown. I had tested Friday and qualified Saturday on a different set of tires. But they were getting worn so I decided to put on the scrubs that were sitting in my trailer all winter from Sonoma Nats. I didn't remember how many heat cycles were on them plus it was raining right before the Saturday race and many of us were thinking it was going to be a wet track. When I came around and saw the lap time it was a big surprise. Turns out the track was grippy and my scrubs were still in very good condition. I doubt I would have been much faster (if at all) on stickers.

Thanks Kevin. And congrats to you. Finishing in 2nd both days is a great accomplishment especially with a novice license! It's going to be a real battle out there once Oli, Jim, Robert, and Amir show up and everyone gets their cars dialed in. I have a big head start on that since my car was already dialed in last year for NASA nationals.

It's stock stuff. I have replaced the eccentric bolts with shims, but they won't let me get more than about 1.5 degrees rear camber. I find my rear tires usually wear on the outer shoulders. BTW, where are you racing? Do we know eachother?
