    That's quick.

I was out on Friday, and couldn't do better than a 1:27.2.

Thanks Jack. That time is OK, but I am still not carrying all the speed I want through the corners. I have some sorting out to do. My main goal going out that day was to do some testing, but two of the main improvements were not done on time.

I predict a 1:23.xxx by the end of March.

I am over 40 HP right now, but my front aero is in horrible shape and I have a horrible push on the car. I also don't have my new coil-overs and new alignment on the car.

I know it is back-of-the-napkin racing, but I figure the lack of front aero push and the HP cancel each other out. New tires are worth +1 second and I bet I can get another out my new suspension/alignment.

1:24s are in the works for sure. I think I can get a 1:23. I was fighting the car so much on Saturday. That's my claim and I am sticking to it.

Also the age of tires is critical.

Welcome to the forum. Nice driving! I would recommend introducing yourself in the new member's thread and provide some details about yourself, your track experience, and your car. Then make sure you follow the format for posting up top 25 lap times. You guys are showing those newer M3's to be very capable track cars.

Yeah, as I understand it, the offical definition of curb/unladen weight in EU countries (per European Directive 95/48/EC) includes 165 lbs for a hypothetical driver, which would mean (if my Googled numbers are right) that Rif weighs in at round about 465 pounds?

    (Or maybe those are 'sandbags.')

3483 lbs, which includes 165 pounds added in because it's an EU car. Is that incorrect?

I'll admit, in spite of being a BMW owner, I know almost nothing about them.

That said, it looks like the V8 model is an awesome car and I'd say Rif is driving it very well.

Weight is the only downside of this car,it is amazing in all other aspects.I mean even in a relatively stock form.
Now the new generation is down to 3300 lbs with even more power and torque,so it will be quite interesting.
